Founder

Dr. J V Majmudar was a world-renowned agriculture scientist who served the government from 1942 to 1971, holding various posts including Research Scientist Pearl millet (Bajra) at Main Bajra Research Station, Jamnagar. Post his retirement from Agriculture University, Mr. J.V Majmudar was appointed as the Principal Pearl millet Breeder in ICRISAT (International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics). This is an international body and is funded by FAO as well as many other countries.
